Interactive formal specification for efficient preparation of intelligent automation systems

The automation system of the future will consist an increasing amount complex resources, such as collaborative robots and/or autonomously roaming for material handling. To control these devices in environment shared with human operators require state art computer perception and motion planning algorithms to be used part system. This new type intelligent system, where machines learning are replacing more traditional solutions, requires methods workflows keep up increase complexity. paper presents interactive iterative framework solving some challenges. supports model-based preparation performed simultaneously 3D geometries, positioning robots, tool design. workflow enables process, resources constraints can added a live (real or simulated) failures analyzed familiar tools virtual preparation. Additionally, describes how integrated process was applied reconfiguring industrial use case that includes robot working side by operator, smart tools, vision localizing both work objects tools.
